MovingplacesEspana is an independent business focusing on providing personalized property finding service to our clients. We help you every step of the way to make your purchase as 'hassle free' as possible. We are located in Dorset on 01202 656 766 and, in El Paraiso, near Marbella, on the Costa del Sol.
We are not estate agents. We do not sell you properties. We find you the property YOU want. Our objective, as consultants, is to provide you with information and advice on buying property in Southern Andalucia, Spain - on the Costa del Sol itself, and in the countryside behind the coast; and as property finders, to find you the property you want through our network of independent estate agents, located in southern Andalucia.
We are also able to recommend lawyers, both English and Spanish and have links with mortgage brokers who can find you the most competitive Spanish mortgage.
There are 1000s of estate agents in Andalucia. As a buyer it is important to choose the right agent - before you choose your property. The way the market works in Spain, agents can access most of the properties available for sale in their operating area. Given that, care should be taken in selecting an agent who will have the experience and professionalism to answer all your questions, guide you through procedures to completion and importantly find you the property you want.
We have personally selected our partnered Estate Agents. They are long established in their respective areas, operate professionally and have excellent reputations. They are able to recommend lawyers and have contact with key mortgage lenders. And they too are, importantly, property finders, responding to our brief from you.

Our service to you is free. How do we earn a living? If you buy through one of our partnered estate agents they pay us a part of the commission they earn on selling the property for the vendor. So using our services does not cost you a penny but will help you become well informed about buying in Spain and help smooth the way for a successful purchase.

How we operate
When you make an enquiry in the UK or Spain, we ask a number of questions to understand your property requirements and, just as important, you may consult us on any matters relating to buying in Spain. We will provide you with property details that will match as closely as possible your stated requirements, and provide other appropriate information you may have requested. If we cannot provide the information we will get it.
We are a shop window in the UK for our partnered estate agents in Spain. We advertise in newspapers and magazines and of course through this website. We feature properties that are available for sale at that time. Our objective is to " give you a taste of what your money can buy".
Once we have fine tuned your requirements with you, we will then research further through our network of agents to find a selection of properties that meet your stated requirements. If you like what you see, the next stage is for you to visit Spain and to see the properties for yourselves.
We have agents who specialise in resale properties and those who specialise in new developments. We feature a broad selection, but not all, of these properties on our website.These are regularly updated, so you know that you are looking at properties that are for sale now .
We help arrange viewing trips to Spain of any duration for you, and arrange for you to meet with our agents in Spain who will show you selected areas and properties. If you making your own travelling arrangements, we can make appointments to suit your itinerary.
Our partnered estate agents in Spain will then show you the properties selected. If for any reason they do not suit, our property finding role does not stop there. Our agents do their utmost to find you "the home you want" but if we cannot find 'the' property, then we will collaborate with other agents in the area to locate a property that will meet your requirements.
This is what all good agents in Spain do. It saves you all the hassle and time of 'trawling around' different agents. If you do decide to buy you will work directly through our partnered estate agent - as you would when buying in the UK.
Legal Services. Both we and our agents in Spain can recommend names of independent lawyers (abogados), whom can act for you when you buy.
Mortgage Services. We and our agents will also help you arrange a mortgage, if required, through Spanish banks. If you wish to raise finance in the UK, or require specialist advice on handling your finances for Spain, including taxation issues, we can provide you with names of specialist UK financial advisers.
Support Services. We have contacts in Spain for all services related to moving in to your new home - furnishing, decorating, electrical and plumbing services, etc., etc.
